GARY THARALDSON
Managing Director – Bond Resorts
Gary brings over 25 years of experience in the construction insurance industry. In 2005, he founded Bond Resorts to offer clients premium construction insurance products and exceptional service.
Before establishing Bond Resorts, Gary held senior positions in National Construction Placement with global insurance brokers. He was responsible for placing insurance programs in both local and international markets for some of the largest construction companies in the United States and abroad.
Gary’s philosophy for Bond Resorts is straightforward: clients should always have access to the best insurance solutions.

Nick Wood
Director
Nick has 15 years of experience in surety bond broking, managing insurance programs for some of the largest companies in the United States. Most recently, he served as a state manager in the Western U.S., leading a team of surety brokers.
Margaret Thompson
Head of Compliance & Governance
Margaret has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, with the last 15 years focused specifically on construction insurance in both broking and government sectors.
She joined Bond Resorts in October 2014 as the Underwriting and Compliance Manager, bringing a wealth of expertise and providing technical support to the underwriting team. Previously, Margaret worked in various construction teams and spent three years with the Managed Insurance Authority, advising the government and assisting with insurance placements for major projects.
In her earlier broking roles, she managed accounts for clients ranging from large multinational construction and energy companies to residential and commercial builders
Underwriting Team
Our highly skilled team of professional underwriters offers excellence in construction insurance underwriting. Our team have the technical knowledge, flexibility and drive to be creative in finding solutions for our clients. Our underwriters actively seek open communication with our clients, ensuring you have direct access to Bond Resorts’s underwriting team for explanations, opinions and assistance when you need it.
Processing/Administration Team
Accuracy and efficiency are crucial to the underwriting process. Our administration support team is committed to prompt and professional service to maintain and enhance our client relationships. The team assists the underwriters with policy processing and invoicing to ensure the underwriting process is seamless.
